Study on the Strain Gauge Based on the Counter-magnetostriction Effect of Amorphous Alloys

The amorphous alloys have outstanding soft magnetism characteristics, so it has been extensively used as the sensing materials of many kind of sensors. The theoretical analyses on the principle and magnetism characteristics of the strain gauge based on the amorphous alloys were carried out, and a system of magnetic method for stresses was designed. An actual measurement test by adopting bended TM-T type Fe-amorphous alloys thin slice was also completed. The testing results show that the strain gauge has some characteristics as higher sensitivity to measure and simple to make a testing system, and is a stress testing method having great developing foreground.
