Research on Automatic Powdering Recognition and Rating Technologies of Galvanneal Coating

A new method for evaluating powdering rating of galvanneal coatings was studied based on computer techniques of image processing and pattern recognition theory,and a system of the powdering recognition and rating on the galvanneal coating had been designed.After OTSU threshold segmenting and medium filtering,some image noises,such as oil dirty,were filtered.A powdering region of the galvanneal coating was recognized with the help of medium filter of standard deviation sequence in the image retrieval.The width of the coating powdering region,particle size and proportion property are typical features of the coating powdering.The reasonable rate discriminated criterion was built between the typical features and the coating powdering situation.The rate criterion is reasonable and effective by test results.
