Multi-objective Optimization of Multi-stage Planetary Gear Train Used in Shield Machine Cutter Driver

Multi-stage planetary gear train used in shield machine cutter driver requires high reliability,low vibration and high power density.Based on the reliability model and the dynamics model,a multi-objective optimization model of multi-stage planetary gear train used in shield machine cutter driver was developed to improve the reliability,minimize the vibration and the overall volume of the system.The optimization of a practical example using mixed discrete combined programming was carried out.The results demonstrate that the optimization model and method can effectively increase the reliability,reduce the vibration level and overall volume of the multi-stage planetary gear trains used in shield machine cutter driver.
