Layout Optimization on Dual-robot Machining Center Based on Genetic Algorithm

First,a dual-robot operation processing unit for large dashboard was established.Under the premise of ensuring the robot and the workpiece working without collision,in order to maximize the sharing working space rate of two robots,a method to optimize the layout of the double robotic workcell was procesd based on genetic algorithm with MATLAB software simulation analysis.Besides,the sharing working space rate and the processing cycle were compared.The results show that:relative to the company's existing state,the sharing working space rate is increased by 14.6percent,and the cycle time is reduced by 1.2min,which demonstrates the effectiveness and feasibility of the method.
