Working Load Prediction and Stiffness Analysis of Large Friction Welding Machine Tools

With the FSW machine development,based on the basic principle of fluid mechanics,a kind of prediction model of the force of the mixing head was presented herein.Using Pro/E and ANSYS,a finite element model of the welding equipment was established.And the machine rigidity and deformation were analyzed through simulating the processing conditions by static force,then determine the maximum deformation of the welding equipment parts and overall stress concentration points.Checking the welding machine and its components stiffness,provide the basis for the welding machine building is provided.
