A Study on Strength and Toughness of Submerged Arc Welding of 15MnVNq Steel

In this paper,the effect of several welding consumables and fluxes on SAW metal's strength and toughness of 15MnVNq bridge steel is introduced.The welding material satisfying technical standard demand is screened. This achievement settles a long-standing prodlem of high strength and low toughness of Yang Zi River Bridge's 15MnVNq steel welded seam.
