On Theoretical Prediction of the Residual Stress in Matchined Surface

In this paper,the authors analysed firstly the formation process of machined surface,and then Presented a new model-the separated surface analysing model,developed a finite element programmel MTPlast for two dimension thermal elasto-plastic problems with the moving load.Further more,the authors predicted theoretically residual stress in machined surface layer and compared prediction results with measuring ones.Lastly,it may be more clear that how machining condition influences the residual stress in machined surface,therefore a theory base was provided for controlling and adjusting the residual stress in surface.
