Theoretical Analysis of the Deformation Process of Closed-die and Theoretical Optimum Design Method of the Dosed-die Forging Flash

On the basis of making physical model according to the deformation process of closed-die,this paper gives the deformation process a systematic theoretical analysis and concludes the relationship between the forging sizes of flash and shape-sizes of the finishing impresion.From it,this paper puts forward a theoretical optimum design method about the closed-die forging flash, which not only overcomes the shortcomings of traditional experienced design method, but also completely realizes the optimum purposes of the die kissing force,the consumption of flash metal and the forging die life.
