Study on Ramie by Anaerobic bacteria degumming Ⅲ.Identification of degumming strains

Using Hungate anaerobic techniques four degumming strains A3-2.G9-2、F135、P1512 Were isolated from reting pond and Soul. Theycould reduce the pectin in Ramie by 72-82%,and hemicellulose by 16-34%.The cell of strain C9-2is rod, 0,5×3-7μm,G+ at early stagebut G- at late stage,it is a periitricha,and can produce endospore near the end of cell. It has characteristics of producing acid using glucose and lactose, hydrolyzing gelatin and esculin, but not hydrolyaing starch, not producing indole and leithinase.The stains A3-2,F135,P1512 are also rod, (1×1.8-4μm, 0. 6×3-4μm, 0. 8×3-5μm), G+ at early stage G- at late stage. They are all peritricha, and can form endospore in end of cell. These strains have characteristics of producing acid using glucose and sucrose, not hydrolying gelatin and esculin, not producing leithinase、indole and caproic acid and producing butyl acid.Strain G9-2is identificated to be clostridium felsineum, and sirius A3-2, F135,P1512 are clostridium pasteriaum.
