The Research Development of Flax Genetic Transformation

WANG Yu-fu(Institute of Bast Fiber Crops,Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences,Chang sha Hunan,410205,China)  
Flax is an important natural material for linen spinning industry an d oil crop in China.Flax products of 100-200 million US dollars are exported to the whole world every year.New flax variety is very important to its industry. More and more scientists are studying on flax genetic transformation and using t his technology to improve flax variety.The situation,development and some prob lems of the technology of flax genetic transformation were discussed in the pape r,and lots of information in the field of flax genetic transformation in all of world were introduced too.
