Breeding of New Flax (Linum usitatissimum L.)Variety Jizhangya No.1 by Interspecific Hybridization

Flax interspecific hybridization technology,a major breakthrough of oil flax breeding in China,overcame the hybridization incompatibility between cultivated and wild species. Zhangjiakou Academy of Agricultural Sciences bred drought and precocious specific resource groups by interspecific hybridization technology. The flax cultivar Jizhangya No. 1 performed as high-production,drought resistance,fine quality and wide adaptation,which filled the gap of flax interspecific cross breeding in China.
