Genetic relation analysis of ramie genetypes wih RAPD marker

Six drought resistance ramie genotypes and six sensitive ones were analysed for their genetic diversity using RAPD. Twenty fove 10-mer ramdom primer were used to amplify the total DNA from 12 ramie genotypes.The results showed that the reproducible amplified products could be obtained with 12 primers.The length of amplitied products were 0.6-5.15kb,Totally 90 bands were identified in total,of which,11 bands were commom in all the genotypes and 79 bands were polymorphic between any two genotypes.The polymorphic bands accounted for 87.78%of the total amplified bands.Acording to the polymorphism results analysis,12 ramie genotypes tested could be divided into two class and three groups.Genetic relation among ramie genotypes was found out directly,This relation was consistent with geographical distribution,but drought resistance genotypes clusted together in different groups or subgroup,This showed that there were different genetic bases in these genotypes.
