Study on Tanning Method of Nano-SiO_2 and Technics Balance(Ⅰ)

A novel tanning method of nano-SiO2 and the optimized technical parameters were put forward based on studies involving the selection of pre-treating methods of pickled pelt and the optimization of tanning condition together with the evaluation of the leather properties.The results indicate that the tanning efficiency and leather properties are closely related to the process of pre-treating of pickled pelt,the content of nano-SiO2,the pH value of the bath and the mechanical action time.The shrinkage temperature(Ts)of resultant leather can reach 93℃ when the final pH value of the drum is 5~6,the tanning time is more than 10 hours and the SiO2
