PROTECTION OF BIOLOGICAL DIVERSITY AND NATURE RESERVES

Biological diversity is the basis for the existence and development of human beings, and its protection is one of the hotspots to which people pay close attention. More and more people have recognized that biological resources are limited. It is proved that the various areas designated and administered to protect the habitat of species are very important in protecting the biological diversity. In China , nature reserves are taken as most typical regions and the important base of biological diversity protection. Nature reserves protect the national rare animal and plant resources, save the species in imminent danger, maintain the typical eco-envi-ronments. The establishment of nature reserves is an effective way to protect nature.
