A Study on Driving-force System of Regional Land-use Change:Taking Yangzhou City as an Example

Based on the land use data and other correlative statistic materials from 1996-2004,this paper focuses on the research of land use change and its driving forces in Yangzhou City during past 8 years.Conclusions are drawn as follows: ①The tendency of land use change is that the amount of cultivated land and garden plot are decreasing largely,and most construction land are rapidly increasing;② Building the driving force model of land use change with 11 indicators,the paper,adopting "Principle Component Analysis" and SPSS13.0,shows it is the increase of population and economy that influences the whole land use change most;③ Having analyzed the impact of economic factor with Eviews3.1 software,results are deduced that it needs about new construction land 15.36 hm2 with the occupation of arable land 17.53 hm2,while the city's GDP rises 100million;Meanwhile,with the increase of 1% urbanization,266.17 hm2 city land has to be extended and 389.3 hm2 arable land has been shrinked.
