Analysis on the Carbon Emission of Municipal-scale Industrial Enterprises in Xiangtan City

Study on the problem of carbon emission from the national and provincial scope,is a micro-scale one,but can not be used to discover the hidden problems in municipal-level economic entities.Study on the characteristic and trend of energy consumption and carbon emission of the scale industrial enterprise at the municipal level,is of great significance to searching for the technologicaly strategies and countermeasures to reduce carbon emission intensity and to achieving the goal of controlling the national and provincial carbon emission.Relying on the related project,the paper makes a survey on the carbon emission quantity and the carbon emission intensity of the scale industrial enterprise's energy consumption in Xiangtan at three different levels,analyzes their carbon emission trend,and comes to the conclusion that the major driving force of carbon emission originates from the adjustment and optimization of industrial structure,acceleration of energy conservation projects,promotion of scientific and technological innovation,and development of circular economy and corporate restructuring.Based on the success of Xiangtan,it finally proposes some corresponding suggestions to reduce the carbon emission intensity of regional scale industrial enterprises.
