Determination of Parameters in the Mathematical Model of Linear Program for Soil and Water Conservation

The imprecise determination of parameters in the mathematical model of linear program for soil and water conservation not only influenced the direction of land utilization but also influenced the selection of opti-mized schemes. The author considers that the reason leading to the imprecise determination was the misun-derstanding of meanings of parameters, for example, the input-output quota was regarded as input-output coefficient and the price of farm product as coefficient of the objective function. In light of this, the author probes into the determination and calculation of cofficients of the constraint condition and objective function under different actual conditions.
