Application of Integrated Bioengineering Protection Technique to Improvement of City Landscape

The city landscape building is of an important part to improve urban residential environment and control the soil and water loss.Shenzhen Municipality has done much work on the ecological restoration of landscape in the past decade,which includes three stages: the control of soil erosion happened in the developing areas,the comprehensive ecological construction of exposed hill pits and the construction of protective forests for water resources.Based on many years research in the urban landscape ecological restoration,the paper summarizes key bioengineering techniques for city landscape protection with the purpose of the natural ecology restoration,which includes biological brick drainage canal,hyproseeding,spray sowing,artificial groove for planting,brick of culture substratum,ecological-type bank revetment and the ecological protection technique of reservoir falling zone.
