Establishment of the Anemic Model with Hybrid Rabbits

bjective: To study the pathogenic mechanism of hemolytic anemia(HA) and aplastic anemia(AA), models of hybrid rabbits with HA and AA were establish. Methods: 50 hybrid rabbits were divied at random into two groups, 25 rabbits were injected with phenyl hydrochloride subcutaneous to prepare the model of HA. The other 25 rabbits, the AA group were given the xenogenic thymus lymphocytes transfusion on general irradiation by 60 Co γ-ray of half lethal dose. Results: The rate of success was 100% and death in 14 out of 25(56%) rabbits in group HA. In group AA the rate of success was 92% in 23 out of 25 rabbits. Conclusions: The two anemic models have a stabilization in pathogenenic period, good experimental repetition and the reliable results, and they will lay a foundation on HA and AA the pathogenesis and the experimental study.
