Chen Jie Tumor Hospital Affiliated to Shang Hai Medical University,Shanghai 200032.
The pretreatment T lymphocyte subgroups in peripheral blood of 136 cases with ovarian cancer were investigated by using monoclonal antibodies with folw cytometry. The results showed that T lymphocyte subgroups were changed comparing with the normal group and the T4/T8 ratio was decreased significantly (p0.01). The patients with epithelial ovarian adenocarcinoma were divided into 3 groups at random for postoperative chemotherapy, i. e. chemotherapy combined with Hu-Interferon, with chinese medicine and only chemotherapy.Every patient received five courses of chemotherapy. We found that the T4/T8 ratio was increased in the groups of chemotherapy combined with Hu-Interferon or traditional chinese medicine, and in these groups, the gastrointestinal side effects and the suppression of the bone marrow were reduced and the survival rate were improved.
