THE STUDY ON SIMILAPITY RARAMETERS OF THE ATMOSPHERIC SURFACE LAYER AND PHENOMENA OF DRIFT SAND

The 2D stable incompressible turbulence equations are the starting point for the analysis.The scale dimensional analysis method,a special dimensionless process is used in this paper.A group ofinherent referential parameters of the atmospheric surface layer is selected.Then the equations is madedimensionless form and the similarity parameter in each item is made to be able to represent thequantitative order of that item.So that the relative value of each item in the equations can be estimatedquantitavely.It should be pointed out that it is both impossible and unnecessary to simulate the flowReynolds number Re when the atmospheric surface layer is simulated in wind tunnel.In fact thecritical similarity parameters are the logarithmic wind profile,the roughness boundary condition of theearth’s surface.turbulence Reynold number Rek and the turbulence level.
