DEVELOPMENT OF MICROTITER PLATE FOR ANAEROBIC BIOCHEMICAL IDENTIFICATION

Using pre-coated enzyme, we developed a microtiter plate anaerobic biochemical identification. With international standard and identified anaerobes, coincidence rates were 95.92% and 94.84%, reproducible rates were 96.33% and 94.33% respectively. Also, coincidence rates were 81% and 90% for elinical isolated gram-negative and gram-positive organisms. Bacterial identification revealed that similar results were observed by using our microtiter plate compared to API20A identifier, while it has many advantages, such as rapid examination,eas to operate, and comparable duplication, etc. We think that it is worth popularizing in hospitals.
