Progress resistance mechanisms of Acinetobacter baumannii

Acinetobacter baumannii is clinical common infection bacteria,and its drug resistance is growing. Multiple drug resistance and its long-term viability will lead to biofilm formation,The biofilm has a complex mechanism that can resist biofilm antimicrobial treatment. Extracellular polysaccharide( EPS) and the biofilm-associated protein,Bap make up the complex structure that can form and maintain the stability of biofilm,and protect Acinetobacter baumannii from the host's immune system attacks,so treating Acinetobacter baumannii infection is coming more and more difficult.
