Analysis and control of occupational hazard factors in shengli oil production crew laboratory

Objective To analyze the main occupational risk factors in shengli oil production crew laboratory,conform the protective countermeasures. Methods Data and information were collected by field investigation and detection,evaluation was conducted to understand exposure level of occupational hazards by combining the engineering control measures. Results The laboratory's occupational hazard factors were non-methane hydrocarbon,benzene,toluene,xylene and gasoline.The concentrations of non-methane hydrocarbon and gasoline were respectively 65. 6 mg/m~3 and 43. 5 mg/m~3,after the transformation were less than the detection limit. The results showed the density of hazardous substances in the workplace met with the requirement of nation standards. Conclusion Engineering control measures are feasible and effective,occupational hazard factors in the oil production crew laboratory can be controlled,and it's suggested to enhance occupational health management to assure the workers' health.
