Objective To study the interaction between Calpain10 gene polymorphism and environmental risk factors in type 2 Diabetes. Methods 131 type 2 diabetes patients and 131 normal control subjects were investigated;ASA method was used to determine genotypes of Calpain10 gene. Results ①The frequency of"GG"genotype and"TC"genotype in diabetes patients were higher than that in the control subjects.②Calpain10 gene polymorphism, overweight and obesity, insulin resistance, stress incident and addiction to sweetmeats were the major risk factors of type 2 diabetes. The regular physical activities, vegetable oil and fresh greenstuffs were the protective factors.③There was a coordinated effect between"TC"genotype and obesity,Insulin Yesistance in the development of type 2 diabetes.(Conclusion The study) suggested that polymorphism of Calpain10 gene may contribute to the genetic susceptibility to the type 2 diabetes, and there was a coordinated effect between"TC"genotype and obesity and IR in the development of type 2 diabetes.
