Present Situation and Suggestions on the Application of Woody Lianas in Shanghai Landscape Architecture

SHOU Hai-yang;  
The basic characteristics and 5 main application forms of woody lianas in the current Shanghai landscaping are introduced. Meanwhile, two representative plants were selected for each application form including plant biological characteristics, application characteristics, similar species, their breeding and other aspects of conservation. Finally, six proposals were put forward to the practical application of woody lianas in Shanghai landscaping, and it prospected for the future on application of lianas in this area.
