Li Nianghui Chen Rumin Huang Qunsheng Pan Ruichi (Department of Biology,South China Normal University ,Guangzhou)  
The effects of 1 to 10 ppm hrassinolid(BR)aqueous solution on pod development,mobilization of assimilates and pod yield of peanut(Arachis hypogaea)were studied.The experimental results were that the transporting rate of assimilates from leaves to pods was promoted by BR and that BR could increase the ratios of pod formation,pod filling and pod yield.It was thus suggested that brassinolid was a mobilizing agent assimilates.
