The newly introduced Japanese soybeans were used to identify major agronomic and quality traits. The results showed that Enrei,riA-5 and SF-1 were characterized as normal,α′-subunit null and β-subunit extremely low respectively;and they all had high protein and high fat content.riA-5 and SF-1 were with high protein content soybean germplasm and SF-1 with high fat content soybean germplasm.riA-5 and SF-1 were shown with good comprehensive agronomic characteristics, they were excellent materials in quality breeding.
