Objective The aim of this study was to explore the prognostic factors by analyzing retrospectively the clinical dates and survival time about elderly patients with NSCLC who the age were more the 70 years old. Methods The clinical dates and survival time about a total of 363 elderly patients with NSCLC who the age were more the 70 years old from Jan 2006 to Dec 2010 in Fujian Provincial Tumor Hospital were collected and analysed. The survival rate was calculated with Kaplan-Meier method.Single factor analysis by log-rank test, multivariate analysis of prognostic factors by Cox regression model. Results For a total of 363 patients,The median overall survival(OS) was 8.8 months.One-year survival rate was 28.0%.Combined with multivariate analysis,ECOG score, clinical stage, liver metastasis, response to first-line therapy and received targeted therapy were independent prognostic factor for survival(P0.05).Conclusion The prognosis was worse in patients with ECOG score greater than 2,Ⅳ clinical stage, liver metastasis, progressive disease after the first-line therapy and never received targeted therapy.
