Dynamic Characteristic Analysis and Structure Improvement of High-speed Vertical Processing Center

The modal Analysis and harmonic response analysis of the high-speed vertical processing center are studied by ANSYS Workbench,and the order of natural frequencies we need are obtained.Through the analysis of the modal characteristics of this machine tools,its relative weaker parts are pointed.The structure of the machine tools was improved acording to the analysis results.The dynamic characteristics of the improved structure are apparently better than that of the original design.The improving suggestion for this machine tools is put forward accordingly.
