An Experiment Study on Milling Forces in High Speed Milling Titanium Alloy

High speed milling experiments on titanium alloy were carried out with coated cemented carbide tools.Based on intuitionistic analysis of orthogonal experiment,the effect of milling parameters on milling forces was researched,which may provide realistic guidance for choosing reasonable milling parameters.It is found that in the condition of smaller axial depth and feed per tooth and greater radial depth,by increasing milling speed is propitious to decreasing milling forces.On the basis of Probability and Statistics and Regression analyzed principle,regression equations for milling forces were established.Significant test of the regression equations was proceed;the results indicate that the equations present highly significant state and it fits practicality well.
