A Complex Optimization Method of the Beam of Vertical Machine Center Based on Topo & Dxvt

In this paper,with the beam structure of VDBS65 high speed vertical machine center as an example,a complex optimization method of large parts of machine tools is put forward.Relying on the topological optimization module,the variation optimization module and the static analysis module of the ANSYS software,the topology optimization,the sizing optimization and the mechanical performance verification are conducted on the beam respectively.By the equivalent transformation of the boundary conditions,the three-dimensional optimization problem is reduced to a two-dimensional one,and then a concise topological structure is gained.Though the sizing optimization,lightweight design is realized under the premise of ensuring stiffness,and the weight loss is obvious.This approach has certain reference value and versatility to the lightweight design of high-speed moving parts.
