The Key Technologies on Titanium Alloy Composite Plates Based on Abrasive Belt Grinding with Constant Pressure

This paper aims at problems of abrasive belt grinding on large-scale titanium alloy composite plates,a new control scheme of adaptive FUZZY-PID was proposed.The existing problem of uneven in the process of abrasive belt grinding on titanium alloy composite plates is solved effectively.And the grinding head and the belt follow the plate surface ups and downs effectively through contacting the workpiece with the constant pressure.Not only ensured the grinding depth and the size of the titanium alloy plates,but also did improve the surface processing quality.We carried out the grinding tests based on the simulation of the controlled object.The results showed that: Using the adaptive FUZZY-PID compound control grinding with constant pressure,the thickness of the material removal of the specimen surface is floating in the 0.1 ~ 0.16mm,and the control achieved good results.
