Effect of Ultra-Audio Frequency Current on Fracture in Model of Animal

Twenty-four New Zealand male rabbits, which wererandomly divided into treatment group the control group equivalently, had been employed in this experiment. The rabbits in both groups were artificially formed the transverse fractures at the middle of both radii. Then the treatment group were treated with the instrument of ultra-audio frequency current (Model-92 Gu-Kang-yi) 30min/each day for 4 weeks and the control group were also treated with same instrument without electrization. After treatment, these rabbits were killed and evaluated the healing of radii in aspects of biochemics, X-rays, and histology of callus. The result shows that this therapy could promote the healing of fracture. Its effect is better than the control group. There isn't any side-effect.
