Effect of Ultraviolet with Full Waveband on Human T Lymphocyte Subsets in Vitro

Using the indirect immunofluorescent T-cell suest labelling technique, the effect of ultraviolet with full waveband on human T lymphocyte subsets in vitro was investigated in this paper. The result showed that the ultraviolet (UV) irradiation can reduce the amount of CD_3 ̄+ and CD_4 ̄+ T-cells, which was relative to the dose, and also decrease the ratio of CD4/CD_8 significantly. Although the CD_8 ̄+ cells increased at post-UV irradiation, but there wasn't significance in statistics. The conclusion indicated that the UV irradiation could selectively influence the some of human T lymphocyte subsets and their functions. So the UV irradiation can regulate the immunological functions of human body.
