Short-term Effect of Low Frequency Pulse Current on Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease(COPD)

In the peper, 21 patients with COPD had been treated by low frequency pulse current (External Diaphragm Pacemaker), which was once a day for 10 times (a course of treatment). After l-4 courses of treatment, the clinical symptoms, blood gasometric analysis and hemorrheology test were all improved. The total effective rate was 90%. It is comfirmed that the method has obvious effect for COPD.
