EVALUATION OF SERUM LEVELS OF SOLUBLEIMTERLEUKIN-2 RECEPTOR IN 68 CASES OF ACUTELEUKEMIAS

Wang Ling; Yang Aide; Fei Hongbao( Union HospitalTongji Medical Universrty, Wuhan,430022)
erum levels of soluble interleukin-2 receptor (sIL2R )were determined in 68 children or adolescents withacute leukemias. The sIL-2R levels in all groups of acuteleukemias were significantly higher than that incontrols, and positively correlated with the number ofleukemic blasts in peripheral blood, but not related toanemia, infection and thrombocytopenia. Serum levelshigher than 2000U/ml were associated with a extremelypoor outcome.
