Study on Extraction Technology of Total Flavonoids Contents in Seed of Turpin

Ethanol immersion extraction was used to extract flavonoids compounds of Turnip seed.The results showed that the optimum condition of extraction was 70 ℃ and 70% ethanol 50 ml,extract time 2 h.The total flavonoids contents were assayed by using spectroscopic methods with rutin as standard.The flavonoids content was 2.01% at the optimum condition.The method was simple,rapid,reproducible and suitable for the determination of total flavonoids in seed of Turnip.
