Studies on Photosynthetic Characteristics of Flag Leaves in Hybrid Rice Liangyou Peijiu and Its Parents

The photosynthetic characteristics of flag leaves in the hybrid rice Liangyou Peijiu and its parents were studied. The results showed that Liangyou Peijiu had heterobeltiosis in pigment content, net photosynthetic rate, electron transport activity and light absorption, transport and transition(spectrum analysis, Hill reaction, photophosphorylation and ATP content) in flag leaves, which indicates that the higher photosynthetic characteristic of Liangyou Peijiu is fully expressed in flag leaves, which is the physiological base of its high yielding ability.
