Research on the Relation of Physical Exercise Level and Mental Health Based on the Survey and Analysis of the Urban Residents in Hangzhou

The objectives were to choose the effective physical exercise level on mental heath and to verify whether the effective exercise level was same on different mental health indicators.The urban residents in Hangzhou were surveyed with the questionnaires of the SCL-90,POMS,physical self-esteem and subjective well-being.The results showed that the score of mental health symptom and TMD was lowest and the score of physical self-esteem and subjective well-being was highest from the moderate exercise population.The multiple comparisons results showed that the scores of mental health symptom and TMD were significantly different among the small,moderate and large physical exercise levels.The scores of physical self-esteem and subjective well-being were significantly different between the exercise population and the population not doing exercise and there was not significantly different among the small,moderate and large physical exercise levels.So the moderate exercise level was the most effective on mental health and that was same on the different mental health indicators.
