Objective:to study the anatomic basis for repairing hypospadias with the pedicled penis flap. Methods: Cutaneous vessels of the penis and prepuce were dissected and observed on 30 adult male cadavers. Results:The primary branches of the superficial artery of the penis arose from the proximal and middle part of the penis. The artery has 3 distribution types:①A single distribution type (30%); ②Symmetric distribution type (40%); ③Asymmetric distribution type (30%).The perforating branches arose from the dorsal artery of penis at 0.5～1.5 cm proximal the corona of plans and distributed in the internal layer of prepuce. Conclusions:It is possible to use penis and prepuce flap to make a pedicled longitudinal island flap.
