Application of Uniscale Method in Chronic Disease Studies:Iniroduction to a Quantitative Recording Method for Subjective Feeling or Symptoms

This paper has introduced a quantitative feeling orsymptom recording method-Uniscale method and the itsapplication in recording the quality of life for patient and respiratory symptoms in chronic disease studies. The method can quantitatively record the subjective feeling or symptoms which are often continuously distributed, vague or not easy to qualify. The method can remedy the defects of traditional qualitative revording methodsto some extent and may after all be accepted as an alternative by scientists in chronic disease studies.
