Extraction of Bamboo Fiber through Screening of Fungus

LI He,ZHOU Guo-ying,ZHOU De-ming (Central South University of Forestry and Technology,Changsha 410004,Hunan,China)  
This research is to isolate the selective strains from rotten bamboo.Through screening,3 strains with strong selective delignification were selected and then we determined their enzymatic activities for various enzymes during culture.While studying the strains about the degradation of the lignin of bamboo,we found three funguses which can jointly degrade the lignin to the most and its efficiency can be up to 72.26%.The research will lay a foundation for the extraction of bamboo fiber for spinning.
