While great achievements have been made in contemporary mind of philosophy,we are still facing a crisis.According to Colin McGinn, the crisis is rooted in our conceptual scheme's inability to solve the mind-body problem, and we should make a conceptual revolution and come up with a new conception of reality, consciousness, and space to get out of the crisis, but McGinn insists that it is a task beyond our faculties.McGinn's idea of conceptual revolution could be called Copemican revolution in philosophy of mind, and his idea of spatializing metaphors embeded in our conceptual framework is instructive, but McGinn only relocates the mind-body problem instead of resloving it.Moreover,McGinn's pessimism on conceptual revolution cann't be provided reliable evidence, and his presuppositions of transcendental naturalism are either still pending or problematic.
