Study on the Protection of the Intangible Cultural Heritage from the Perspective of Intellectual Property Right

Zhang Ai'e
"Intangible Cultural Heritage Law" has approved the intellectual property rights protection is a path to promote the inheritance and innovation of intangible cultural heritage. The intangible cultural heritage in Changzhou is rich, but under the influence of the modern civilization, the shock of popculture, and the temptation of commercial profit, its survival and development situation is severe. At present, the consciousness of intellectual property protection is weak and dispute increases day by day, which highlight the necessity of intellectual property rights protection. In the meantime, the intellectual property rights protection has the endogenous power, so it’s feasible to make full use of the existing intellectual property rights system in the frame of "Intangible Cultural Heritage Law", and the main path includes copyright protection, trademark protection, patent protection and trade secret protection.
