Multi-UAVs Cooperative Coverage Reconnaissance in Complex Area

In order to improve the efficiency of coverage reconnaissance in complex area by multiple UAVs,the coverage reconnaissance strategy with least number of turns for irregular area is proposed by resettling irregular regions,which is based on high performance algorithm to obtain the width and the minimum area bounding rectangle( MABR) of the regions. Then,the spanning tree coverage( STC) optimization method based on improved ant colony algorithm( ACA) is applied. Finally,corresponding simulations of the proposed method are made,and the results show that,the UAVs can fulfill the searching task easily and efficiently.
