Reading Notes on the Labor Theory of Value
Li Tieying
Tremendous changes have taken place in the economic field of the world during the more than one hundred years since the publication of Marx' Capital. Many new problems call for scientific answers on the basis of in-depth studies of labor and the labor theory of value. The author makes new probes into the following issues: labor and labor force; production and value of commodities; human labor and materialized labor; surplus value and net value added. He believes that the Marxist labor theory of value is a scientific theory tested and tempered in practice and that as the basis of Marxist political economics this theory have been constantly getting richer and developing with the development of the times.
