ESTABLISHMENT OF A HYBRIDOMA CELL LINE SECRETING MONOCLONAL ANTIBODY AGAINST TRYPANOSOMA EVANSI

Through three fusions and a lot of screenings and clonings, 7 cell lines of hybridoma secretong monoclonal antibodies against Trypanosoma evansi have been established. One of the hybridomas, IIG_6, was selected for further analysis. With regular ELISA, culture supernatant of hybridoma IIG_6 was tested for its specificity against T. e.. The results revealed that I1G_6 McAb had high species specificity and did not cross react with Schistosoma japonicum or Toxoplasma sp. ELISA test showed that the titer of culture supernatant of hybridoma IIG_6 was 1:5.1×10~3 and the titer of IIG_6 McAb in the ascites fluid was as high as 1:1.6×10~7, The immunoglobuhn subclass of IIG_6 monoclonal antibody was identified as IgG~1.
