Structure and Geographical Distribution of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Gansu Province Province

Based on Data Mathematical statistics and the spatial analysis tools of Arc GIS,this paper analyzed the characteristics of hierarchical structure,formation structure,macroscopic regional distribution,administrative distribution on municipal- scale,and drainage distribution of the 342 items concerning intangible cultural heritage in Gansu Province. The result showed that: 1The hierarchical structure of the intangible cultural heritage was a pyramid- like one. 2With the type structure,showed a clustering ladder distribution. 3The intangible cultural heritage was mainly distributed in the Longzhong Area which included Lanzhou,Linxia,Dingxi and the Longdong area which included Tianshui,Pingliang and so on,with southern Gansu behind it,and scattered in Hexi area. Besides,the spatial distribution of the intangible cultural heritage in Gansu had certain correlation with that of the major river systems in this province.
