Residents' Perceptions of Impact on Traditional Villages' Human Settlements from Tourism Development——A Case Study of Zhangguying Village

Based on the deeply comprehension in connotation of human settlements and the effect of tourism development,this paper analyzed the perceptions and attitudes of residents towards effect of tourism development from tourism development in Zhangguying Village by questionnaire and descriptive statistic analysis method. The results showed that: 1 Zhangguying Village was in involvement stage of tourism development. Local residents had a favorable view of tourism development because of the less negative impact. 2From the perspective of residents' perceptions,local residents had strong and consistent perceptions to positive factors of economic,social-culture,environment and the overall impact. The perceptions to negative factors were weak and different. 3Education level,income levels and birth-live place were the important factors which impact residents' perceptions. On the basis of the above discussion,some relevant suggestions aiming to the promotion of sustainable tourism development in Zhangguying Village were put forward.
